Located at the historic Lourensford Wine Estate, it’s a chance to soak up the exquisite natural beauty of sprawling lawns, landscaped gardens and majestic trees, taste award-winning wines and craft beers, and admire some pretty impressive vintage cars.
It’s a rare and special place to stock up on unusual goods and have a roaring good time with friends and family. After all, the market is brought to you by The Aleit Group – South Africa’s leading event management group – so a good time is guaranteed!
At our vibrant seasonal market you will find:
- 60 permanent stalls and ever-changing pop-ups
- A uniquely modern yet rustic design, covered against rainy weather

- Regular live music performances with resident DJ Concorde on Friday evenings and acoustic music artists or bands on Sundays

Products on offer
We bring together some of the area’s hottest up-and-coming entrepreneurs offering everything from delectable food, uniquely handmade wares and original art, to organic, locally sourced, artisanal produce.
Vintage cars, craft beer and estate wines
Our neighbours at the MOTOR Studio have some of the finest cars ever to be manufactured in the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s on show. Their studio is also the home of ABRU Craft Beer. Lourensford Estate’s superb wine collection also complements the festive atmosphere.
Heaps of fun for the kids
The market is exceptionally child friendly with lots for little ones to enjoy, from splashing about in the fun interactive fountain to treetop adventures with the Jump & Rope Yard. Look out for face painting and other kids activities on Sundays, or let them bop along on the dancefloor with cool live music. There is also a kids play area located behind the Millhouse Restaurant and lots of garden pathways to explore.
Friday Night Twilight Market
Our signature Friday night event has become an institution: the place where friends and family come together to enjoy after-work drinks and ease into the weekend. Take a stroll down our Fairy Light Lane, visit your favorite vendors and grab a seat to enjoy the ultimate night-market experience.
#FirstFridays
First Fridays happen every first Friday of each month. On these nights, our resident DJ will showcase themed music and our dance floor will also be set up for an evening of dancing under the stars. Keep an eye on the Facebook events page for the theme reveal and on-the-night competitions.
Entrance fees
Although entrance to the market is free, there is a R10 parking fee per vehicle entering Lourensford Estate: R10 back if you purchase a bottle of wine. Your four-legged family members are also welcome at our Doggie Bar.
*Dogs are allowed as long as they are kept on a leash at all times.
